Ricky Gervais has revealed his next stand-up show for 2026 will be called Legend - ensuring people have to call him that in the future, whatever happens. The announcement follows the global success of his previous tour, Mortality, which hit number one on Netflix after its release on 30 December, with millions streaming it.
The new tour from Gervais set to begin later this year, 'taking in the biggest arena venues across the UK, Europe and North America'.

Having enjoyed huge critical success for the outstanding first series of After Life, which was released on Netflix in March 2019, Ricky has since written and finished filming on a second series, which will land on Netflix in 2020. The comedian, who lives in Hampstead, was honoured at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards for his special Ricky Gervais: Mortality. He won in the category of best performance in stand-up comedy on television.
